Using Adobe Animate user can create animation for games, cartoons, shows and webs. It can be used with windows as well as on MAC's also.
In our organization we used adobe animate for create high quality web application that are very reliable and scalable and also apply other interactive content to the website.
  • High Quality Graphics.
  • Easy to Import.
  • Publish it Anywhere.
  • Better UI.
  • Pricing.
  • Support
Adobe Animate is very useful for creating high-quality graphics, cartoon, web application, web show, etc. And it is also very easy to use and some content is free to use as well. Every organization wants to use these types of software for photoshop. Every software has some drawback also and in adobe animate the subscription is one the major drawback and otherwise it's all good.

Animating for ads has become much easier after switching to Adobe Animate. Animating any 2D space is easy thanks to its dedicated Use of AI for Designing. Whether it be for VR or AR, or for interactive Ads, Adobe Animate is our First Choice. It works well with Mid tier PCs too.
  • Vector Illustration
  • Use Of AI
  • Effective Warp Tool
  • HEIC Format isn't supported, which is surprising.
  • Red Button closes the Application in MAC
  • Envelope Deformer rarely gives good results
It is not for High End Designing, for that you have After Effects. It is best suited for beginners and for the ones with moderate experience in the art of Vector Illustration. And the learning curve can be a bit steep, so you might need constant support using it, which is available in the Behance community.

One of the strongest features of Adobe Animate is its vector-based drawing tools, which allow users to create smooth, scalable graphics. The software also has a robust Timeline and motion editor, which makes it easy to create complex animations, such as tweening and inverse kinematics. Additionally, the software supports a wide range of file formats, making it easy to import and export graphics, sound, and video.
  • 2D Character Animation: Adobe Animate's bone rigging and inverse kinematics features make it easy to animate 2D characters, allowing for realistic movement and facial expressions. This makes it a great tool for creating animated shorts, explainer videos, and interactive games.
  • Interactive Animation: Adobe Animate's support for HTML5 Canvas and WebGL allows for the creation of interactive animations that can be played on web browsers, without the need for any plugins. This makes it an ideal tool for creating interactive infographics, ads, and games that can be played on any device.
  • Animated web banners: Adobe Animate can export animations in the form of HTML5, which can be embedded in web pages, allowing for the creation of interactive and animated web banners and ads.
  • Interactive e-learning content: Adobe Animate can be used to create interactive e-learning content, such as interactive quizzes, simulations, and interactive videos. It's also possible to create interactive text books and interactive animations with Adobe Animate.
  • Interactive video: Adobe Animate also allows you to create interactive videos, that include animations, quizzes, and interactive elements, making it an ideal tool for creating engaging and interactive video content.
  • 3D Animation: Adobe Animate is primarily a 2D animation software, and while it does have some basic 3D features, it is not as robust as specialized 3D animation software like Autodesk Maya or Blender. This can be limiting for animators who want to create more complex 3D animations.
  • Camera control: Adobe Animate's camera control is limited and not as advanced as other animation software. This can make it difficult to create more advanced 3D animations or even 2D animations with different camera angles and movements.
Scenarios where Adobe Animate is well suited:2D animation for web, mobile, and video games: Adobe Animate is well suited for creating 2D animations for web, mobile, and video games. With its vector-based drawing tools, bone rigging, and inverse kinematics features, it's easy to create smooth, scalable graphics and realistic movement.Scenarios where Adobe Animate is less appropriate:Complex 3D animation: Adobe Animate is primarily a 2D animation software, and while it does have some basic 3D features, it is not as robust as specialized 3D animation software like Autodesk Maya or Blender.

Currently we use Adobe Animate to create animated videos, graphics, and more for the Chamber. Combining it with other Adobe tools like Photoshop and Illustrator we can expand on our current marketing kit and grow our presence online.
  • vector animator
  • integration to other tools
  • graphic ease of use
  • easier download
  • better mouse use to drag
  • integration to app
Adobe is well suited when utilizing other Adobe products or creating something with all the platforms however it is limited when combining programs.

I work a lot with Adobe CC and when choosing a program for animations, it is no doubt to use another program by Adobe. Our clients ask for animation for their brand, campagnes and other related design projects. We create the impossible, and animations are impossible for most of our clients, they don't have the expertise to create susch things. They can think of concepts, but the execution of the idea is more difficult.
  • Interface is awesome
  • It perfectly fits the other Adobe programs, thus easy to learn when you are familiar with the programs already.
  • The fact that Adobe always work on imporving its programs, good to see that new features are coming
  • The processing time for exporting animation can be long somtimes. But overall is faster than premiere pro
  • There are limited effects one can use (when compared to after effects)
  • A bigger content library
For starters it is perfect and especially when you know the Adobe programs well. However, when you have more a advanced assignments and your client is asking for more effects, Animate is not your program anymore. Therfore the level of professional annimations one can make is limited. But for a specific group of users it is perfectly fine, and even fun because you can see results of your work quickly.

I use Adobe Animate to animate logos that I design. In addition, I make splash pages as needed for clients. Adobe Animate makes it easy to utilize Adobe suite and all Adobe software for all creative assets vs another tool where you would have to utilize clunky importing and exporting tools.
  • Importing assets
  • User friendly
  • Advanced animation
  • Support seems less than other Adobe products
  • Other tech in the space has advanced capability
  • More templates needed
Animating logos is a great use case for Adobe Animate. In addition, working with Adobe Animate and XD together is handy when working on UI and mocking up apps and websites.

We attempted to build a new website from the ground up and decided Flash was the best software to start with. There was a learning curve to address, and a coding language to learn, but since Flash is so widely used there are tons of videos and resources to hold your hand as you build up your portfolio.
  • The scalability of what Flash can do makes it so useful. You can do something simple like make a ball bounce on screen over some letters before showing your logo, or something more complex such as developing an animated short to display.
  • Using Flash videos on websites is very commonplace, so people are used to seeing it and have the necessary plugins installed already.
  • The files are very small, and the compression is very smooth. This helps if you are trying to send content to mobile devices or simply keep your website footprint small to ensure fast loading times.
  • It's being replaced in 2020 so it most likely is not worth learning for anyone who hasn't used it before. Apple devices don't play nice with Flash videos either, and that's a large user base.
  • Its battery consumption for mobile devices is poor, and probably won't be addressed due to HTML5 replacing it in a year
  • One of our original reasons for using Flash was for animation, but Toon Boom (a competitor) is really better set up for that task. With built-in mouth synch capabilities, it does a lot of the busywork for you, that Flash made you do yourself.
Well suited for the past, not well suited for the future. With fewer and fewer platforms that accept Flash, and a hard deadline of no more support from Adobe in 2020, it's a dinosaur - was very cool and ruled the world in its day, but doomed to extinction. Still, you can still recognize some cartoons and videos as being made by Flash just by their look, and that's impressive brand recognition.

My law firm uses adobe flash to embed content (mostly marketing content) on our website. It allows us to easily add multimedia to our various online channels. It addresses a recurring problem we have of attempting to combine multiple media onto a single web-based platform for marketing purposes and we love it.
  • Simple to use with user-friendly controls
  • Code snippets allow novice users to code
  • Allows me to combine multiple media assets easily
  • Limited 3D capability
  • We find many handheld cell phones can't support our adobe flash materials
  • Can take time to load media as it is a heavy program
Adobe is particularly well-suited for workplaces that understand its basic functionality but may be lacking in highly-skilled coders or programmers. Adobe continues to successfully bridge the gap between sophisticated users and practical users and makes it easy for novice computer users to create meaningful content and to code proficiently.

Adobe Flash is software that is used to stream and/or view video, audio and multimedia on a computer or supported mobile device. My company, in general, uses Adobe Flash because we stream and view videos that our brands produce in other countries and have to stream them here so we can generate them, change its language and add the appeal to our U.S. consumers.
  • Adobe Flash is used more in the advertising industry today which is good for me due to I am in the marketing department at my job. It shows graphics and texts with animations. The app also permits streaming of both video and audio clips.
  • Adobe Flash and its latest program is designed to deliver engaging video and audio playbacks, universal reach and the very best user experience, this helps Adobe Flash with its consistent and loyal user base.
  • Adobe Flash is compatible with many different browsers, which is overall a great tool for multiple companies running with different browsers.
  • Certain websites, platforms and applications that use Adobe Flash technology have always seemed to be slower than the sites that do not use it.
  • Those who want to use flash to watch and/or stream movies, in order to watch these movies with the Adobe Flash application, Flash Player needs to be installed. A lot of people now do not want to download more applications to their computer due to space and viruses.
  • Accessibility is a concern with Flash. Things need to be properly coded and someone who is not well versed in Adobe Applications, might have issues with things like changing text and/or having alternative text.
Adobe Flash is good to use when you need to create little commercials or ads that use animation on your website or social media. For example, when my brands send me Flash files in their language and or/pertains to their area, I can copy some of their graphics and make my own Flash file but adding in English animation pop up art and/or change the overall music/voice layover into something that will pertain to my U.S. audience.

Also, when I worked for a grocery store chain, I used to make 30 second animation ads that would pop up different items and different prices in a short commercial like video that I would post onto social media.

Adobe Flash runtime is used throughout the whole organization, as it is used for most websites, for media and moving graphics. Some of the business problems it addresses depend on the graphics that are needed for the organization, such as diagrams and schematics for different components for certain types of vehicles. We particularly use different Adobe software, such as Reader to manipulate the sizes of the graphics, not as much for using Adobe's professional software, which can be used for animations and movies.
  • Rich media - Adobe's goal for Flash is to "deliver more secure and consistent HD quality video across mobile devices, TVs, and desktops."
  • Good interactivity - Using some of the professional software can allow you to interact with a program, such as games.
  • Vast Browser Compatibility - Flash can be used across most common web browsers, including IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera.
  • Bugs and crashes - like most software, sometimes websites run too slow and Flash would crash while loading certain graphics and animations on websites (or stop playing media).
  • Consistent security patches - very critical for Flash, but if you do not have the latest version, vulnerability is likely to happen.
  • Not suitable for mobile websites - you cannot download or use Flash on smartphones, such as iPhones or Android devices.
It is well suited for scenarios for desktop and laptop PC websites, but not if you are wanting to view a Flash website on a mobile device or tablet.
You mainly use it to view digital media, animations, and other graphics that would require Flash. However, if Flash continues to crash when you visit a specific website on a web browser, you would need to either update it or uninstall it and find a better alternative, such as HTML5.

I teach classes in Adobe Animate Pro CC (formerly Adobe Flash CC) in our Web & Graphics certificate/degree program. In the beginning class I cover drawing, animating and very basic scripting. In the advanced class I focus much more heavily on programming with ActionScript. I personally use Animate/Flash to create learning materials for classes, animated title sequences for instructional videos, and create front-end apps that utilize a PHP-MySQL backend for data collection. I have created textbook ancillaries and other instructional apps with Flash in the past, as well as Android/iOS apps for personal use.
  • Nice, simple vectored drawing environment (I prefer it to the more complicated Adobe Illustrator for most projects)
  • Animation (this is the main selling point of Flash/Animate Pro)
  • Powerful scripting language (ActionScript), now having the ability to also use JavaScript
  • Better error reporting in testing code
  • Better seamless move from ActionScript to JavaScript
Flash/Animate Pro is well suited for creating animation sequences. Coupled with the drawing capabilities, it is a great environment for cartooning. But I think its greatest feature is the ability to create interactive cross-platform apps for WIndows, Android, and iOS devices. Unfortunately, this is a mostly-hidden ability. Adobe does not market much to this capability nor does the mobile development industry tout Flash/Animate Pro much. Great for prototyping apps as well.

It's used by our whole company for marketing projects. We use it for video and print projects for previewing and reviewing.
  • It's very easy to use and intuitive per the types of files used.
  • It's easily able to be updated and the communication between Adobe and the user is exceptional.
  • It makes combining various file types quick and simple.
  • There are times when it tries to automatically update in the middle of a project.
  • Updates seem to be constant. Fewer and bigger ones would be nice.
  • Not every program that we use works well with Adobe.
It's very useful for all the multimedia projects that we are constantly involved with everyday. It's a great bridge between all of the different softwares that we use for creating and editing.

It's not always the best for merging together large projects and it will often stop a project because the system needs to update itself.

Flash was heavily used for certain simulations of software and hardware solutions. It has departmentalized use specific to research and development. In some cases, certain interactions, simulations, and hardware intents can be realized using Flash. It allows for quick implementation, rich interactions, object-orientated code, and web rendering. It's use has been in decline because of the speed we get from other tools and native solutions we use.
  • Fast development
  • Rich interactions and animations
  • Object-oriented code
  • The ability to create projectors again (Win/PC)
  • Security always seems to be an issue
  • Flash seems to be on the designer/developer decline (it has for years)
It's well suited for quick simulations and demos. It's good for very rich web interfaces, video delivery, and games.
